Eunice continued staring at Marie as it was as if she was looking at a different person.
She wondered whether that was the real Marie or the soft, innocent kind Marie she had always know

know so that I can go ahead and book the tickets,” Marie said with an innocent smile on her face
shocking Eunice as she couldn’t understand how Marie could change personalities, emotions, and
character immediately.
It was as if Marie had been doing this countless times. Thinking of whether that might be the truth
or not, Eunice couldn’t help but shiver.
Although she hated Amanda to the core, it wasn’t to the point that she wanted to kill the latter. But at the same time, she understood that if she didn’t help Marie, Marie would use anything means just
to involve her. She hoped that Marie wouldn’t betray her when all this came to light.
“I don’t know. You can do anything you want. If you want to go with your plans then do so but there

Eunice said after all that time of silent shocking Marie as she had never expected the latter to

She looked at Eunice with darkened eyes, hatred and a killing intent as she understood that Eunice had already seen through her acts.
She wondered since when did the Scotts‘ young miss started to rebel against her and even say no to her She still had to admit that that was kind of a pleasant move on Eunice’s end but Marie refused to believe it. To her, Eunice was still the stupid and naïve woman she had known for many years.
“I am leaving.” Eunice said with a yawn as she was so tired of walking around for so many hours.
Hearing this, Marie was shocked and glared at Eunice coldly before getting rid of the emotions in his eyes as it wasn’t good when Eunice saw her in that manner.
“But please come with me. I promise that I won’t kill her. I am a citizen abided by the law thus there are some things that I can and cannot do,” Marie said hurriedly as she understood that the important thing was convincing Eunice to go with her.
Eunice let out a sigh of relief as she changed her mind and perspective and had to admit that Marie wasn’t the woman she had just seen. Marie was always kind.
“I am so sorry but I am so tired and sleepy. I just want to go home and rest. If it isn’t an emergency that you need to run to there, we can just go another day,” Eunice said firmly, making
Marie look at her with a lot of hatred.
*Eunice, please, I am going there ‘cause your brother asked me to,” she said in a low tone that even Eunice who had just walked further heard the last words only.
“My brother asked you to that city? And why didn’t he tell me?” Eunice asked in confusion.
She fell into deep thought as she wondered whether Damien had already trusted Marie so much that was now feeling to send her to other cities for businesses when he wasn’t available.
As a person who had stayed with Eunice for a long time, she understood what was really going on in Eunice’s mind but she didn’t say or refute anything. They were in public and there was no way she was just going to reveal anything that had happened between her and Damien on that day.
“Can you please accompany me? It would only be for a few days,” Marie said in a pleading tone but the emotions on her face were completely different.
It was like someone who had been wronged.
“Please, Eunice. I am now afraid of going to that city alone knowing that Amanda is also in that city. I am afraid that she might try doing something to me,” Marie explained.

He was even more affectionate with Marie than he was with her, his blood sister.
