Lysander asked, “The woman’s family background should be pretty good, right?”
Adrian chuckled. “We have the same thought.”
“Do you know her?”
“I was abroad for many years and recognized the elders in Harborbrook but was clueless about the younger ones. You can take a picture and ask Aiden. That kid definitely knows.”
Lysander said, “I don’t have Aiden’s number.”
Adrian raised an eyebrow. “I thought you’re on Whisper?”
Embarrassed. Lysander asked, “Aiden even tells you that?”
“He didn’t tell me. He values his pride too much, so he wouldn’t tell me such an embarrassing thing.”
“So how do you…”
Adrian explained. “Josiah told me. He asked me to keep Aiden in check and away from you.”
Lysander didn’t speak and just sneered with a mocking smile.
Adrian said, “I haven’t been back for many years, but Aiden was by his side and respected him like a
truly brother. You were married to Josiah for three years, but Aiden didn’t even recognize you. Josiah is something. Everyone said he treasured his wife, and he said he was married, but no one knew what his wife looked like. To put it nicely, it was to protect you but to put it bluntly, he didn’t want you to be known as Mrs. Guerra.”
Lysander listened silent/co
“Perhaps in his heart, I’m not his wife, just a puppet bearing that title.”
Adrian said, “Actually, I shouldn’t be the one telling you these, but that’s how men are. If they accept you, they’ll let you integrate into their circle as soon as possible, you’ll at least meet with his close buddies.”
Lysander thought of Zachary who took her to meet his friends right after confirming their relationship.

A sound of shattering glass came from a distance. Then, came a woman’s scream.
They saw Harry embrace the woman, soothingly stroking her hair, gently patting her, and comforting her. “It’s okay, don’t be scared, I’m here.”
Adrian said, “It looks like he’ll succeed again. Should we tell Priscilla so she can prepare in advance?”
Lysander had already raised/her phone, quickly snapping a few photos.

Adrian nodded, using his body to shield her. Taking the opportunity, Lysander found better angles and took several more pictures–front views, side views, the couple embracing each other–she got them all.
She might not have Aiden’s contact information, but she also had her own connections.
She selected a few photos with the woman’s portrait and sent them to Daphne.
Daphne’s call came quickly. “Why did you send me a picture of this woman? Besides, her looks are. average, not even as good–looking as you. If you want to look at a pretty woman, you might as well look in the mirror. Plus, this whole pink, princessy style… Haha, I really can’t appreciate it.”
Daphne’s style had always been rather cool. She disliked feminine style, especially the girlish kind.

Daphne suddenly exclaimed, “Hah! Does Harry have a new target again? Didn’t he impregnate Dr. Ziegler’s daughter before marriage? Have they divorced already?”
