Sheridan was so tired that the only thing on her mind was sleep. She also heard that marking led to either exhaustion or relaxation, but both options helped greatly with sleep. “Please, let it wait. We…”
Alpha Nick disagreed, pressing his hard body against her soft breast, her hard nipples pinned against his chest. His hot breath fanned her ears. “You are wasting en
talking. Just do it.”
Sheridan smiled weakly with her eyes closed. Why was he so desperate for her mark when there was a lot of time ahead of them? Nonetheless, she could not disobey his command.
Her eyes opened groggily, Alpha Nick changed his position slightly to make it easy for her. With his neck close to her lips, her canines elongated, instantly sinking into the softness of his neck.
Sheridan felt weird after, as if something had been added to her. There was a strange reaction in his system which she could not help but attribute to it being the taste of his blood.
Alpha Nick sighed with relief. Finally, he belonged only to her. The pain from the bite was nothing to him as Sheridan licked the little blood that came out of it.
Alpha Nick purred, “It’s your turn. I’m going to mark you.” There was a strange excitement inside of him, as his wolf seemed peacefully asleep, more like rejuvenating like one would do after a mark.
“You won’t stop even if I say no.”
Sheridan moved to her side, giving him access to her exposed neck. Alpha Nick laid beside her, her back facing him as he buried his head in the crook of her neck, sucking and planting light kisses teasingly, before his canines finally sank in.
Sheridan gasped from pain and for a moment, it was as if the sleep disappeared from her eyes. Alpha Nick licked the drops of blood but the next moment, heavy sleep overtook both he and Sheridan, they collapsed in each other’s arms.
In Athena’s room, the emerald bracelet on her wrist glowed so bright, it awakened her. Luckily, Tedmond was sleeping soundly. Athena’s heart warmed when she saw the brightness of the glow and her lips thinned into a smile.
“Finally, we are there.” The smile lingered on her lips before she went back to sleep.
Daytime was like nighttime at the Dark Moon Pack, as everyone slept soundly. It was not just Alpha Nick and Sheridan who had marked each other.

In Bree’s room, she was crying from both pain and pleasure, as Alpha Ansaldo did not only mark but also mated with her.
Her innocence was all lost to her destined mate and she instantly felt transformed into a woman with responsibilities. The responsibility to her new pack which they decided to go tomorrow because of the fatigue of all the happenings.
Alpha Ansaldo still felt guilty because of what he did to Sheridan but did not know how to confess it to Bree. Up until now, he had no idea about the man she ended up with, fearing what had happened the
Was Alpha Nick aware? They were now mates but that night remained on Alpha Ansaldo’s mind, stealing his sleep all the time. The act haunted him greatly, he was losing sleep.
“You look disturbed. What is the matter?” Bree asked him. This was her first time being so exposed to any man but he was her mate.
Alpha Ansaldo’s lips pursed, as he pressed them onto hers. “It’s nothing. I will get a glass of water.” He was not thirsty but was just looking for a time away to hide his guilt.
However, Bree caught his hand before he got off the bed. “There is something troubling you. Tell me.”

Chapter 108
“You promise not to hate me?”
Bree thought for a while. It was as if she matured overnight but after the way Sheridan forgave her for all she did not her, she also felt that her heart was big enough to take whatever Alpha Ansaldo was going to say.
“If it’s very bad, I would get upset but then, you would have to make me breakfast to cheer me up.”
“You won’t reject me?” Alpha Ansaldo asked seriously, Bree thought carefully.
“You said that you waited for me and never mated with anyone,” Bree reminded him, he confirmed it with a nod.
“That is true.” Bree was relieved. It would have hurt badly if he lied to her.
“If that is the case then I would never reject you,” she said solemnly, Alpha Ansaldo narrated everything to her. When he was done, she remained so quiet, it got him nervous.
In another room, Goldie and Dustin were equally intimate. Dustin did not waste time in marking Goldie right in the shower but could not mate with her because she was so exhausted after the marking that she fell asleep.
It was past noon when Sheridan woke up from thirst and unease. It was as if a new DNA had replaced hers. Aside from that, she could feel the temperature of the pack in her mind, knowing that all pack members were still asleep but there were equally no intruders.
This
was very strange to her and she began to wonder how it all began. Was it because of the mark? She was too thirsty to continue worrying about it.
The water in the fridge in her and Alpha Nick’s room was too cold so she went to the kitchen to get some warm water.
There, Alpha Ansaldo, dressed in a pair of white shorts and a shirt, was making a toast for Bree since everyone was still asleep.
She was upset after the confession last night so he acted on every promise she made, to cook for her and hope it would ease her
anger.
Seeing Sheridan, he was gladdened to have this talk with her. “Sherry. I accept your forgiveness but don’t you think Alpha Nick should know about it? I already told Bree.”
Sheridan massaged her temple from the strange things she was experiencing but before she could respond, that familiar voice spoke on her stead.
“Forgiveness? What do I have to know about?” Alpha Nick asked seriously, his glare on Alpha Ansaldo.
