He was boiling in anger. How can a father be like this? How can he show such blatant favoritism?
How has Alexia survived for so long in a home that treats her like this?
Ray’s eyes widened when he heard this. He looked like he did not believe that Kayla will do something like this.
“What….what did you say? Alexia and Kayla have always argued…they are sisters. No matter how much they argue, they won’t go this far with each other! I know both of my daughters! Maybe Alexia misunderstood something and she told you guys that?” Ray asked. He was unwilling to believe that Kayla will want to have Alexia raped.
“Are you really Alexia’s father or did you adopt her?! We saw it for ourselves! We were at the school today and we saw how Kayla asked her friends to beat up and rape Alexia! Are you saying that we are lying and that we are in cohorts with Alexia to frame Kayla?” Micheal asked.
If it wasn’t for Miles, he didn’t even want to entertain this man at all. He just wants to kick him out. How can he be so irresponsible as a father?
Ray was speechless. Even if he could argue that Alexia is lying, there is no way that he can argue that the alphas are also lying. The both of them have no reason to lie against Kayla.
In fact, deep down, Ray knew that Kayla was actually capable of doing something like this. He had seen the way she treats Alexia at home but he did not do anything about it because Kayla is the one who is mated to the Alphas and Alexia is just a wolf who can’t even shift.
He didn’t really care about Alexia that much.
“This….I really didn’t know…Your Highnesses….how about….how about we just forget about this? I know that Kayla has done. something wrong, but they are both sisters, I know that Kayla was wrong this time but please…ler’s just forget about it. Let Kayla leave the dungeon and I’ll get her to apologize to Alexia. I’m sure that this won’t happen again!” Ray said. He didn’t want Kayla to remain in jail.
“You want us to leave her alone after what she did? Do you even know what you’re talking about? Your daughter….your younger daughter…she’s in the hospital right now but you don’t even care! What kind of a father are you? Is Kayla the only person who matters to you?” Miles asked.
Ray kept his head down and did not dare to raise it. He was willing to beg if this means that he can save Kayla.
“I….I really am sorry. I know that saying sorry is practically useless here but I really don’t know what else I am going to do. Kayla she…she’s still young. I’ll make sure that she never makes this kind of mistake again!” Ray said.
“Alexia is even younger than her. She was beaten up badly and almost raped. She is now in the hospital and she hasn’t woken up. She has a few broken bones as we speak. Do you really not care if she lives or dies all because she can’t shift? Is this what a father should do?” Michael asked. He really could not contain his anger.
Ray sighed. “Your Highnesses…..you know you both know that you are the ones who rejected Kayla as your mate. She thinks that it’s because of Alexia and that is why this happened. I won’t talk about her being your mate anymore, so can you please just let her go this one time?” Ray asked.
As the former beta, he had never had to beg anyone in his life. But this day, for the sake of his daughter, he was more than willing to beg.
“He was even willing to use the fact that Kayla was once the mate of the Alphas to get them to leave Kayla alone.
Ray suddenly burst out laughing. It was a sarcastic laughter.

“Do you know why we decided to break up with her?” Miles asked.
“Isn’t it…isn’t it because Alexia told you something about Kayla? The sisters don’t get along so you really should not believe everything that she tells you about her sister!” Ray said.
“Oh really? Is that so? Alexia did not tell us anything though. Your daughter, Kayla is the one who lied to us. You and her didn’t tell us about Alexia. She kept the fact that she has a sister away from us. Alexia could not even recognize our wolves when she saw us and we almost killed her thinking that she was a rogue. We came back to ask Kayla and she told us that she didn’t have a sister no matter how hard we asked her. And not only that, she lied against our sister Jenna and told us that Jenna was picking on her on purpose and that Jenna didn’t let her enter the house at all. Did you even know about all of this? Do you believe only what Kayla tells you or you just don’t care about anyone else?” Miles asked.
Ray was speechless. He really did not know about all of this. He thought that Alexia really did say something to Miles and Micheal that made them hate Kayla.
He was already thinking of the ways that he’s going to punish her when she gets back from school.
He didn’t expect that everything will be so……complicated.
“Kayla lied to us. No matter what we told her, she would not tell us the truth. She lied against our sister. No matter what she said, she was insistent on lying! the hell is wrong with you? Do you still think that all of this is Alexia’s fault? We wanted to see what Alexia and Kayla is like during school hours and so we went there. If we had been just a little bit late, Alexia would have been battered and raped by the friends of Kayla and Kayla was just there taking a video of it! Do you think that you can threaten us? You want to use the fact that she was once our mate to threaten us? You had better think again, Ray. It’s absolutely not possible. Kayla is going to get what’s coming for her, that’s for sure!” Miles said. He won’t let Kayla get away with this.
He has no idea what she has done to Alexia all these years but for what she did today, he won’t let her off like that!
Ray sighed. “No matter what, I was your father’s beta can’t you just treat this as doing me a favour? Let Kayla go, please. From now on, I won’t be biased. I will treat the both of them equally. How does that sound?” Ray asked.
“Hah! Let me tell you, you were our father’s beta, not ours. We really don’t care if you are the former beta or not. Your daughter is going with what’s coming for her!” Micheal said. With her father acting like this, he was more determined to punish Kayla and teach her a lesson.
Since her father won’t teach her, then he will!
“Beta Ray, Alexia is our mate!” Miles said.
