I Love You, Miss Genius Chapter 596

This man always radiated dominance in front of outsiders, but now he seemed as childish as a kid.

Seeing Bonnie remain silent, Ivor asked again, “Honey, are you serious? You’re not joking with me, right?” Bonnie raised an eyebrow lightly and said, “Do I look like someone who would joke about such a thing?”

Ivor excitedly lifted Bonnie from her chair and spun around with joy.

Bonnie held onto his shoulders. “Stop spinning. I’m getting dizzy.”

Ivor exclaimed, “I’ll call Grandpa right away to choose a date for us.”

He quickly brought Sigmund over and informed him of Bonnie’s willingness to marry him. Sigmund was also delighted and immediately took out a calendar to look for a good wedding date. “The most suitable time for the wedding is early next year.”

Ivor became anxious immediately. “Early next year? That’s still several months away. Aren’t there any sooner dates?”

“A wedding is a major event. It can’t be rushed.” Seeing Ivor’s impatient look, Sigmund teased, “Back then, when I arranged this marriage for you, you were completely unwilling. Now, you’re in a hurry.” Ivor replied confidently, “That was then, and this is now.”

He then turned to Bonnie, took her hand, and said, “Honey, Grandpa said we have to wait until early next year. Are you not anxious? I’m sure you’re very anxious, right? How about we get married today? We can have a simple wedding ceremony tonight.”

Bonnie replied, “Didn’t you say you wanted to prepare a grand wedding? It’s already evening. Are you sure you want to rush into marriage like this?”

Ivor looked crestfallen and pleaded with her, “Well then, during this time, please don’t run away.”

Upon hearing this, Bonnie’s expression turned stern. “Ivor, what do you think of me? If I agree to marry you, I will be wholeheartedly devoted to you. But there’s no point in getting married if you don’t trust me, even on the most basic level.”

Ivor immediately became nervous and apologized, “Honey, I’m sorry. Please don’t be angry.”

Sigmund only smiled. The men from the Knight family would often spoil their wives, and the women would stay by them forever.

After soothing Bonnie, Ivor immediately began drafting the invitation list.

“Honey, who do you want to invite? Do you need my help?”

Bonnie pondered for a moment. “There are quite a few people I want to invite. I’ll handle it myself.”

“My poor wife.” Ivor walked behind Bonnie and started massaging her shoulders.

Bonnie smiled and began thinking about whom to invite. ‘Heath Rice and his family are definitely on the list. Then there are my disciples, the president of the Gemstone Association, Kay Steele…

‘Of course, my seniors and kickboxing master would be invited without question. Russell and Elliana Barker… Who else…? I needed to think carefully and not forget anyone.’

In the study, Ivor was making his guest list when suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

He paused and said, “Come in.”

His aunt and uncle entered the study. A hint of surprise flashed in Ivor’s eyes.

“Uncle Gunnar and Aunt Sydney, what brings you here?”

The couple glanced at each other. Then Sydney stepped forward and asked, “Ivor, we heard that you’re going to marry Bonnie?”

A gentle smile appeared on Ivor’s face. “Yes.”

Sydney furrowed her brows, looking somewhat hesitant.

“I don’t think Bonnie is suitable for you, to be honest. So, I found a different match for you. She’s impeccable in terms of family background, looks, and talent. She’s many times better than Bonnie. Would you like to meet her? Maybe you’ll hit it off?”

Ivor frowned. “Are you trying to arrange a blind date for me?”
