Seeing him press down on the spot where he was shot before, Bonnie became even more nervous.
“Did you hurt yourself trying to protect me? Unbutton your shirt and let me see.”
As she spoke, she reached out to pull Ivor’s clothes. Just as her fingertips touched the buttons, he held her hand.
“Silly girl, I’m just too happy. This heart of mine is beating so intensely because of your worry for me.”
Bonnie looked into Ivor’s eyes, filled with deep affection, and blushed. “I think you’re deliberately saying these things to scare me!”
“I’m not scaring you, I’m genuinely happy.” Ivor hugged Bonnie tightly. “Bonnie, did I pass the assessment? Can you agree to me now?”
Ivor’s captivating gaze made Bonnie uneasy, causing her ears to flush red. She turned her head away.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Seeing her avoid the question, Ivor’s hand tightened around her waist.
“Bonnie, can you stop torturing me like this? Tell me the answer quickly, can you agree to me now?”
Bonnie raised her eyes and looked closely at Ivor’s handsome face.
Although he had recovered, his pale complexion showed visible signs of fatigue. Recalling the time he had devoted to her beyond measure, her heart suddenly softened. “Okay, I agree.”
Ivor’s eyes instantly lit up, his excitement hard to express. He tightly hugged Bonnie and was unwilling to let go.

His voice was loud and exuberant. He seemed to want to tell the whole world that Bonnie was his woman.
Ivor was loud enough that Jim heard him on the helicopter.
Jim looked down and watched Bonnie and Ivor tightly embrace each other. He smiled joyfully.
Just then, a voice came through his earpiece.
“Mr. Jim, we have surrounded this place. What should we do next?”
Jim’s smile faded slightly, and he ordered in a deep voice, “Capture them all. Anyone who resists, kill them on the spot!”
As he spoke, he paused momentarily, then continued, “Make sure to capture Auguste alive!”
With that, a fierce look appeared on Jim’s face. ‘Anyone who dared to harm Bonnie will not be let off lightly! By letting him live, I will personally make him experience hell on earth.’
In the bushes, Bonnie noticed many heads poking out of the helicopter, and a hint of embarrassment appeared on her face.
“Why are you shouting so loudly? Afraid others won’t hear you?”
Ivor admitted frankly, “Yes, I’m afraid others won’t hear me, afraid they won’t know I have such a good wife.”
Ivor’s shamelessness left Bonnie speechless, her cheeks burning even redder.
“Shameless.”
“Yeah, I’m shameless.”
Ivor took advantage of Bonnie’s unguarded moment and pounced on her.
“After all, what is more important than having a wife?”
Feeling the thick breath of the man enveloping her, Bonnie’s cheeks reddened even more while her small hand pressed against the man’s broad chest. “Everyone’s watching. What are you saying?”
