“I’ll take the lead. That way, I can shield you if there’s any danger.”
“At the moment, there shouldn’t be any danger. You can go wherever you want.” Bonnie didn’t want to say more at this point. Sienna turned to look at Bonnie but didn’t say anything. She withdrew her gaze and continued walking ahead.
The two walked for a while with Bonnie following behind Sienna.
Bonnie suddenly shouted, “Sienna, I just noticed that someone seems to be running over there. Hurry up and check it out.” Sienna furrowed her brows and followed Bonnie’s line of sight in the opposite direction.
“Could we be under surveillance?”
“I don’t know. I didn’t get a clear look at the person before he ran off.”
“I’ll go check. Remember to stay close behind me and don’t fall behind.”
“Okay.”
Sienna cautiously walked deeper into the narrow path, but the further she went, the deeper she frowned.
“This is a dead end. Bonnie, did you misread it?”
Bonnie narrowed her eyes. She seized the opportunity, raised her hand, and delivered a karate chop to Sienna’s neck.
Sienna’s body stiffened. With her remaining strength, she turned her head and looked at Bonnie incredulously.
“Y-You ambushed me. How shameless!”
As she spoke, her whole body collapsed to the ground.
Bonnie sighed helplessly. “It’s just as you said, you had been prepared. So even if I wanted to knock you out, it wouldn’t be so easy. But when you’re unprepared, it’s easy for me.” After dealing with Sienna, Bonnie arrived at the address left in the message. It was a large private villa by the sea.
There was also a hint of hidden danger in such a rugged environment.
Any ordinary person would be hesitant to approach the villa, but Bonnie walked calmly toward it. Her steps were composed and determined. It was as if nothing could affect her. Arriving at the entrance, the guards raised their guns and aimed them at her.
A hint of a smile appeared on Bonnie’s lips, though it didn’t reach her eyes.
“What’s this? Didn’t you invite me here? Do you want me to leave?”
