Jim could tell that Bonnie was being considerate. “Alright, since Bonnie said so, let’s go together tonight.”
Kramer became increasingly curious about Bonnie’s identity. He planned to dig deeper and find out who exactly Bonnie was tonight. He wanted to know why she made Jim so nervous. They went to the barbeque area at night.
Jim handed the freshly grilled meat skewers to Bonnie and said, “You can eat now.”
“Okay, thank you.” Bonnie took them.
Mitchel put his arm around Kramer’s shoulder and whispered, “Who’s this girl? Isn’t she Jim’s girlfriend?”
“I asked, and he said she’s not.”
“Is he lying to you? Look how nice he is to this girl. Have you ever seen him treat other girls like this?”
“Jim wouldn’t lie to me.”
“Hmph!” Elsa became more annoyed the more she looked at Bonnie. She couldn’t understand why Jim treated Bonnie so well and sat close to her.
Bonnie decided to ignore Elsa’s jealousy and leave the next morning, regardless of what happened tonight.
After eating and drinking for a while, Bonnie asked, “Where’s the bathroom?”
Jim stood up. “It’s a bit far. I’ll take you there.”
