The tension in Jim’s voice made it clear how much he cared about Bonnie.

Kramer sighed deeply. “If that’s the case, I can only wish them well.”
“Kramer!” Elsa stomped her foot in frustration.

Bonnie told Jim about Keenan’s situation.

As Elsa approached, Bonnie was congratulating Jim’s grandparents.
The elderly couple liked Bonnie more and more as they looked at her. “Jim, is this the granddaughter-in-law you found for us? The girl is lovely!”
“Grandpa, you’ve misunderstood. She and I are not what you think we are. We’re just good friends.”
Kramer followed Elsa over, and the two heard Jim’s words, which made them happy.
“I knew it. It’s all a misunderstanding. My Jim doesn’t fancy superficial and vain witches like her. But I’m different. I never covet Jim’s money. I only care about him as a person.”
