I Love You, Miss Genius Chapter 524

“Oh?” Kobe raised his brow. “Judging by your tone, you must be insinuating you have an authentic painting of Master Kieran’s.”

“I guess you can say that,” Bonnie responded casually.

That was when everyone lost it.

“Did she just say she has it? If that’s the case, her net worth is easily more than a hundred and eighty million dollars!”

Rhys heard that. Then, he thought about how he had earlier boasted about his net worth of one million and forty thousand dollars to her. All of a sudden, he felt like such a clown.

Titus looked awful as well. After all, he kept badmouthing Bonnie the moment he met her. Worse, he looked down on her as well.

Now, however, it seemed as if he was the clown all along.

“Do you have it? A-Are you serious?!” Kobe was so shocked that he was stuttering.

Even Orson was staring at her with sparkling eyes.

‘Master Kieran has only ever made a few paintings in her lifetime. Out of the few of them, only a couple of them were put up for auction. One of them was purchased by a wealthy foreign businessman, while the other one was purchased by the richest family in Pyralis, the Knights.

‘Now, it seems Bonnie possessed Master Kieran’s painting. Oh, my. I’m already in love with the painting now! I love it so much that I might rob it from her.”

Instead of going down this topic, she walked over to Kobe’s painting and pointed at the tabby cat. “Over here. The color isn’t right on this tuft of fur.”

“What do you mean?” He squinted and asked.

“There’s something wrong with the stripes.”

“How is it wrong?”

“The color of the stripes over here looks light when it should’ve been darker.” The tabby cat in her hometown had been with her since she was very young. So, she remembered every single detail about it. “Heh!” He sneered. “What makes you think your words mattered? The way I see it, you’re just trying to help Orson out. That’s why you’re spouting nonsense right now.”

Orson’s brows furrowed. ‘Did Bonnie make this story up just to help me out?’

“Thanks for your help, Master Bonnie, but I honestly think this is the real…” “What’s the matter? Don’t you believe me?” She asked dryly.

Looking at her confident bearing, he thought she must know a lot about Kieran’s painting. Moreover, he believed that she had been telling the truth all the while.

“That’s enough, Bonnie. You’re done here. Please leave.” Kobe smirked and looked at her. The mockery in his eyes was unmistakable.

She looked back at him casually. “It’s easy to see if I’m telling the truth. You’ve got a picture of the authentic painting on the internet. Why don’t you just search for it and compare it with your painting here?” “I’ve got it right here, Master.” Kay pulled out her phone and hooked it up to the big screen in the exhibition.

“Gee! I think you spoke the truth, Master. There’s a slight difference in the color of the tabby cat’s neck when you compare it with Master Kieran’s authentic painting. It would’ve been nearly impossible to see it if you hadn’t pointed it out.”

Kobe’s face fell for just a second. “The picture you searched might not have been the real deal. Also, the colors might change because of the flashlight from the camera. So, it doesn’t accurately depict the genuine color.”

“How shameless!” Kay pointed at him and yelled.

“I’m an elderly person, Kay. It won’t do for you to speak to me in that way. If I didn’t know better, I would’ve thought your parents did a poor job raising you. Hahaha!”

“Why, you… You old…” Before she could finish her sentence, Bonnie stopped her.

Bonnie stared at Kobe coldly and said, “Does this mean you’re not going to admit that your painting is a fake until you see the real deal?”
