I Love You, Miss Genius Chapter 505

Keenan charged upstairs and gripped Ivor’s wrist. “Let her go.”

Ivor was already furious, but his rage grew. “Do you have a death wish?!”

“It’s my mission to keep her safe. You will let her go.” Keenan pitted himself against Ivor without a hint of fear.

They were on the verge of fighting. It would only take a slight trigger for disaster to follow. Bonnie knew they would start fighting if she just stood there. She said, “That’s enough. You’re both adults, so stop acting like children.”

Keenan said stubbornly, “He needs to let go first.”

Ivor’s expression grew increasingly menacing, and the air around them felt colder. Meanwhile, Bonnie felt a headache forming as she looked at Ivor and said, “Just let me go.”

“Why don’t you ask him to let go? Why should I let go first? We’d known each other long before he arrived, Bonnie. Don’t you think you’re being unfair to me? I’ve never brought a woman back to my place and never will.

“Good on you for taking a pretty boy back to your place. He’s even trying to take my place as the man of the house. Ged was right. You’ve rejected me because I’m not your type. Instead, you love cute and clingy guys like him.”

“I’m not cute. You’re cute!” Keenan was beside himself with rage.

After some thought, Bonnie said, “Don’t you think he’s more sullen and domineering?”

“Does that mean he’s your type?” Ivor squinted at her menacingly.

However, Bonnie did not respond directly. Instead, she said, “I seriously don’t know how to communicate with you.”

“Oh, but you can communicate with someone like him?”

Bonnie was beyond speechless. After taking a deep breath and calming down, she said, “Leo wanted me to make amends for the incident concerning Sienna. So he dispatched one of his task force members to keep me safe for now.”

“Are you sure about that?”

“Here, I’ll call Leo now and ask him if you don’t believe me.” Bonnie was confident Leo would play along, given how wise he was.

Ivor stared into her honest eyes and

decided he could only believe her. “Fine, but does this guy have to protect you like this? I have plenty of highly capable bodyguards. I can always choose the best among them to protect you. I’ll tell Floyd to

keep you safe if I have to

“I’ll ask for your help when I’m desperate. You know how I am and that I don’t like being followed. As for Keenan, I have no say in it. Leo said he’d be my bodyguard and follow me if I didn’t accept Keenan.

“What am I supposed to do about that? I can’t let an older man like Leo follow me all day. People who don’t know any better might think I’m some big shot because a retired general is my bodyguard.”

Bonnie’s explanation was so

flawless that vor could not retort.

Finally, he said, “Fine, I’ll accept that

this guy will protect you for now.

Still, he’s a guy, and you must set some boundaries. Will he guard your bedroom door when you’re steeping?”

“That’s not necessary!” Keenan retorted.

Ivor glanced at him sidelong, exasperated as he thought, ‘At least this punk knows his boundaries.’

However, Keenan was not done talking. “I’m her bodyguard. I can’t just guard her bedroom door. I must watch over her by her bedside.”

Suddenly, a menacing air spread throughout the villa. Ivor said, “It looks like you have a death wish, after all.”

Keenan said fearlessly with a raised chin, “Death doesn’t scare me. I’ve survived worse in the past.”
