I Love You, Miss Genius Chapter 476

Floyd was surprised that his boss agreed to have tea with the young lady. After all, Ivor had never been particularly friendly with women other than Bonnie.

‘Is it her appearance? But she’s wearing a mask. Perhaps Mr. Ivor is trying to seduce her to get that teapot! Wait a minute. How can he do that without removing his mask?’ Bonnie told Benedict, “Get us some hot water.”

“Sure thing.” A minute later, he returned with a kettle.

Bonnie took the kettle and poured the hot water into the teapot.

Ivor grew curious and asked, “Aren’t you going to add tea leaves inside?”

She smiled and tried to play it off. “You’ll see soon enough.”

The mysterious woman had intrigued Ivor, but her actions piqued his curiosity even more.

Soon after, a sweet fragrance came from the teapot.

He asked, “Is that the smell of tea? But you didn’t add any tea leaves.”

Bonnie poured him a cup and explained, “This teapot has been passed down for generations, and its previous owners used it to make tea almost daily. Over time, the fragrance of tea leaves permeated every inch of its interior. I didn’t have to add tea leaves to get the fragrance.”

“I’m pleasantly surprised. You might look young, but you have extensive knowledge of this.”

At that moment, Bonnie appeared in his mind. She was also young and had mastered many things.

Bonnie said humbly, “You’re too kind. I only know a little about it, so it’s nothing to brag about.” “Just a little, huh?”

Ivor mulled over that phrase, and it reminded him of Bonnie again. After all, he had asked if she knew about the clay teapot in the hospital yesterday, to which she replied similarly.

Ivor fell into a momentary trance and immediately wanted to see Bonnie.

‘Although I only left her for a day, it feels like centuries for me. She has smitten me. I can’t leave her side for the rest of my life now.’ Soon after, he returned to his senses and looked at the masked Bonnie from head to toe. He said, “You remind me of a friend of mine.” Bonnie’s eyes sparkled. “The feeling’s mutual. You remind me of my friend, too.”

The more they looked at each other, the more they felt the familiarities.

Ivor insisted, “How about we exchange phone numbers? If you’re willing to sell this teapot in the future, I’ll have a chance to buy it.”

She thought about it and pulled out her phone. “Alright. But my family member loves this teapot like no other. Since Master Yandel made it, it’ll be harder for him to let it go. There are only three of Master Yandel’s handiworks left in the world.”

Bonnie avoided telling Ivor about Sigmund breaking one of them, so only two such items remained.

She added, “So, I don’t think you can buy it soon.”

“There’s still hope, right?”

Bonnie raised her brow in response. She noticed his persistence and did not want to rain on his parade. She said, “Let’s add each other on WhatsApp.”

“Alright.” He fiddled with his phone and pulled up his QR code. “There, you can scan it now.”
