Before Bonnie could understand, Xavier approached with a smile and stood before her.
Trina and the others all stared at this scene, utterly confused. They wondered why the CEO of Sheffyn Entertainment would approach Bonnie.
“What are you doing here?” Bonnie looked at Xavier with a cold
gaze.
Xavier maintained his friendly smile. “Ms. Bonnie, please don’t bid for this ginseng.”
Bonnie raised an eyebrow, her tone cold. “Are you trying to compete with me?”
“No, how could I compete with you? I want to bid for this ginseng and give it to you.”
His words shocked everyone.
“How… how is that possible?” Gresham’s mouth hung open.
Xavier wanted to give Bonnie this priceless, hundred–year–old ginseng.
Moreover, Xavier was the CEO of Sheffyn Entertainment. They were comparable to the Knight family in Pyralis. No one could find a connection between him and Bonnie and why he was trying to please her.
Bonnie nodded. “How sensible. Okay, I’ll accept it.”
Xavier breathed a sigh of relief. “Thank you, Ms. Bonnie, for your kindness.”
Bonnie waved dismissively. “You can go now.”
“Okay, I won’t bother you anymore.” Xavier quickly left.
This scene confused everyone. Xavier was acting so submissive toward Bonnie.
Gresham felt a sense of regret, but it was only fleeting. Despite Bonnie’s current glory, everyone would revile her once someone exposed her identity as a mistress. The higher she climbed, the harder she would fall.
Avril looked at the ginseng in her hand with admiration for Bonnie.
“Bonnie, this is such a valuable item. You should keep it safe.”
Bonnie replied, “I plan to give it away.”
“What?!” Avril was so surprised that she accidentally raised her voice several notches.

“You want to give it away? Who are you going to give such a precious thing to?”
Bonnie smiled mysteriously. “You’ll know in the future.”
In the private room on the second floor, Ivor stood up.
“Mr. Ivor, where are you going?” Ged looked at Ivor and asked.
“I’m going to find Bonnie.” Ivor smiled and said.
Ged felt repulsed.
Ivor came to Bonnie’s side and looked at Kay. “Excuse me.”
Kay did not react. She didn’t understand why the CEO of Knight Group was asking her to
move.
Thinking of this, Kay looked back and forth between Bonnie and Ivor and came up with a
conclusion.
“Here. sit.” Kay smiled and gave up her seat before staring at Bonnie and Ivor nosily.
