Quincey pretended to be considerate and said, “You guys shouldn’t think of Whitney that way. She’s indeed impressive. I believe she’s not one to do anything beneath herself.”
Megan turned and said sarcastically, “Quincey, you are too naive. There is no such thing as an Impressive woman in this world. Those who get into wealthy families usually have good family backgrounds or rely on men.”
Megan revealed that she saw Whitney with the Greene family. “She is not who she seems. She also has connections with the Greene family. I suspect that she has slept with many men, including Felix.”
“I don’t believe it.” Quincey lowered her head and looked sorrowful. “If it weren’t for me, Whitney could have been with Thiago. Then, she doesn’t have to see any man. It’s all my fault.”
Alison shook her head and patted Quincey’s shoulder. “You are so kind. Even without your involvement, Thiago and Whitney would not last long. Thiago doesn’t like her at all.”
Quincey nodded and pretended to be sympathetic.
Soon, it was rumored on the Internet that Felix had already picked a new producer with an impressive background. Everyone was wondering what kind of person that would be while online rumors continued to spread.
Quincey couldn’t remain calm when she saw the online rumors. She didn’t want Whitney to get it easily, and it was proven that Whitney could take what Quincey wanted every time.
Early in the morning, Quincey invited Megan to her house. It was not easy to please Megan, so before she came over, Quincey prepared the most delicious food and entertaining things, but when Megan arrived, she still looked displeased. “Today, I had to cancel plans with my bestie to make time for you,” Megan said.
Quincey led her into the house and gestured for her to sit on the couch. “This is the dessert of your favorite Michelin–starred restaurant, I queued up early this morning to buy it.”
Megan’s eyes lit up, and she hurriedly began to eat. “You are so nice to me.”
As soon as she ate a few pieces, she saw Whitney’s name written on a document on the table. She quickly put the food aside and picked up the document.
Quincey pretended to take it away. “Megan, it’s not what you think. It’s all a rumor. It isn’t true.”
Megan avoided Quincey’s grasp. The more Megan looked at it, the more excited she became.
“She is really not a good person. No wonder she can achieve such a social standing. It turns out that she used men as stepping stones.” Megan smiled disdainfully. “Quincey, where did you get this?”
“My paparazzi friend uncovered this information but hasn’t published it yet. When I found out, I bought all this information.” Quincey snatched the document back with guilt. “Megan, can you not spread this information? I’m afraid it will affect Whitney’s future. After all, I’m also responsible for what she did.”
Megan didn’t agree. She thought Whitney deserved it, and after reading this information, she planned to send them to her besties immediately.

Quincey reached forward and held Megan’s hand. “I know you blame Whitney too, but promise not to tell anyone.”
Megan pretended to agree, but she was already planning to tell someone. “Alright, I’ll do it for your sake. Otherwise, I hope whitney gets out of our lives quickly.”
Quincey nodded and smiled gratefully at Megan.
After exchanging a brief smile, Megan left Quincey’s house, saying she had plans with a friend. Within a day, everyone knew about Whitney. and the rumors became more and more outrageous.
In the beginning, it was rumored that Whitney had befriended many men, such as the father and sons of the Greene family and some famous
playboys, for the sake of higher social standing and to gain more.
Then, it was rumored that her studio was funded by a married man from a wealthy family, and she was his mistress. Now that that man was worthless, she dumped him and shifted her focus to the entertainment industry, targeting Felix.
This rumor reached Felix’s secretary, Simon Zeigler. He had worked for Felix for many years, so they were like family. Upon hearing what others said, he felt anxious and doubtful of Whitney. After all, Whitney’s sudden appearance caused Felix to take significant action.
Simon couldn’t help but open Felix’s door. Felix was just about to release a new single. The first thing that came to his mind was Whitney.
“You came at the right time. Please contact Whitney’s agent for me and find out what she’s thinking now.” He handed over a draft and said, “This is a theme song for a movie. I think it suits her very well. Let’s see if she’s interested.”

Simon hesitated for a moment and said, “Mr. Thompson, I think you should first get to know Whit-”
“Forget it. Just ask her when she can sign the contract. We shouldn’t miss such a talent. Missing it would be a big loss.” Felix’s tone was so
firm that Simon couldn’t continue.
“Okay, I’ll get in touch with her now,” Simon said.
Simon went out, hesitated for a moment, and called Cindy Freeman. After passing on Felix’s message, he hung up.
Whitney, who received the invitation to sign a contract, wasn’t keen to enter the entertainment industry, although she had anticipated this outcome. She went to that party just to discourage Quincey. The goal was achieved, but something else came up.
She felt helpless and wanted to refuse, but it seemed that she couldn’t.
Cindy leaned against the wall beside her desk and looked at Whitney, who was dealing with the draft silently. Upon seeing a subtle shift in her expression, Cindy smiled faintly.
“The rumors about you seem to be a bit controversial in the industry now. We could ignore the ones about you and your brothers, but now there’s a rumor about you trying to rope Felix into the industry. It’s absurd,” Cindy said.
Whitney thought, ‘It’s gotta be Quincey. I had her tricks all figured out a year ago.
She looked up and sneered. “Since she’s so eager, let’s play along. Let’s meet Felix and crush her dream of becoming a star once and for all.”
“Her?” Cindy seemed to understand who she was talking about. “Is that your old flame’s lover? She is really wicked and cunning.”
Whitney rolled her eyes. If Cindy weren’t someone she trusted the most, she would’ve told Cindy to get out.

Cindy turned around and said, “All right. I’ll make an appointment for you now.”

Quincey screwed Whitney before. Whitney vowed to get even. It had been a year, and she had been gathering her resources to take back what was hers, little by little.
Cindy called Simon and made an appointment to sign the contract. On that day, Whitney was supposed to go to Felix’s company, but since. Whitney hadn’t finished her drafts, Felix went out of his way to meet her at their company.
This made Simon very unhappy. After all, big shots like Felix didn’t usually go out of their way for anyone.
