Get Spoiled after Travelling into A Novel Chapter 175

Chapter 175 The Cunning Man Feigns Pity

George stood up, his shirt dishevelled with two buttons mysteriously popped open, revealing his bloody. skin beneath.

“Danny, you should go. I can handle the medication myself; no need to trouble anyone else.”

After saying that, he cast a glance at Milly. There was a faint grievance hidden in that glance.

Milly was speechless.

She didn’t know whether it was because of the illumination, but George’s face appeared pallid, and his steps were unsteady.

Milly was stunned for a moment. Did I overlook his condition earlier? I remember that his injuries were not that serious, but now he looks critically ill.

On the other hand, Danny nodded quickly upon hearing George’s command. “Yes, Mr. Tate,” he replied.

He immediately bolted from the room, disappearing so fast that Milly didn’t even have any chance to call

him.

Is he that fast?

Once Danny left, George didn’t speak anymore. He made his way upstairs while frowning. His face seemed to whiten with every step, likely due to the pain from his injuries.

Milly couldn’t take it any longer. “Um, how about I help you with the medication? You look seriously hurt.”

She suddenly felt pretty inhuman.

Despite their past resentment, George had helped her a lot. He had saved her on set and now offering Apollo to her which he had bought for 135 million dollars.

He had done so much for her, and now when it was her turn to repay, she was hesitating. Anyone would be disheartened by her reluctance.

“Though I’m not great at applying medicine, I can certainly stop the bleeding. If you don’t mind, I can bandage your wound.”

George paused his step and turned to face her. “You don’t have to push yourself.”

Push myself?

Milly waved her hand hurriedly. “I’m not pushing myself. I just treated Apollo’s wound, so I’ve got some experience. If your wounds aren’t treated in time, they might get infected, and it could be worse

tomorrow.”

“Alright then.” George turned around and walked over.

Milly observed him silently.

Perhaps she might have imagined it, but George seemed to walk more briskly as if he no longer had the same level of hardship as before.

However, when he sat down and she saw his ghastly pale face, she realised that she was thinking too much.

She quickly took out the medicine and gauze from the first aid kit. “It may hurt a little. Please bear with it.”

Before her hand touched George’s arm, Apollo, sitting nearby, growled fiercely at George, baring his teeth. “Aah–wool”

Milly grabbed his wrist. “Apollo, calm down. Don’t move.”

Though Apollo couldn’t understand her words, he was perceptive enough to gauge her mood and tone.

However, this time he didn’t calm down. Instead, he grew more agitated, his growls escalating. “Aah!”

He hated the man before him. He didn’t look like a good person.

Seeing Apollo’s agitation, Milly set the gauze aside and gently stroked his hair to calm him. “Be good, Apollo. I will be done soon, and then we’ll play together, okay?”

Apollo whimpered in response, “Ah–wooo,

“Be a good boy, okay?”

George was sitting across them. His expression grew colder as he watched Milly’s hand run through Apollo’s hair again.

He’s a real eyesore.

George’s beautiful eyes, now dark with malice, narrowed. He clenched his fist, causing his partially healed. wound to tear open again and fresh blood dripped onto the white marble coffee table, which was very

scary.

Even a lot of it flowed on the long–haired carpet below.

He seemed impervious to the pain, his expression unchanged as he continued to aggravate the wound, blood pouring out steadily.

Milly had just managed to calm Apollo when she turned and saw the pool of blood on the coffee table. She gasped in horror. “Ah! What’s going on? You said it was a minor injury, but why did you shed so much blood?”

George furrowed his eyebrows; his lips were pale. “Maybe it’s deeper than I thought. It’s not that serious.”

Milly quickly unwrapped the gauze and opened the bottle of medicine, her face full of worry. “How can it not be serious with all this blood?”

She carefully used a cotton swab to clean the blood from his hand. Soon, the white swab was soaked with red.

The wound was indeed deep; it took her five or six attempts to clean it up. Then, she poured white powder medicine on the wound, but she spilt half the bottle in a hurry.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to use so much. Does it hurt?”

She immediately used another cotton swab to wipe the excess powder and leaned in to gently blow on the wound to ease his pain.

“Does it hurt? Tell me if it docs.”

The young girl before him lowered her eyes and felt guilty for using too much medicine. Her nose reddened with self–reproach while her soft, pink lips moved closer as she blew on the wound.

Her breath was sweetly fragrant, stirring something deep within him. He swallowed hard, clenching his uninjured fist to suppress his desire.

How can there be such a cute little girl in this world? I want to hug her and keep her all to myself.

If Milly looked up now, she would be frightened by the raw, undisguised emotion in his eyes.

Apollo, sitting on the sofa, watched George with fierce eyes. His recently calmed emotions flared up again; his gaze murderous. “Aah! Ah–woo!”

George noticed the hostile stare and lifted his black eyes, now devoid of warmth, and glared back with icy ferocity.

His raised eyebrow signalled a challenge.

Apollo sensed the man’s aggression. He wasn’t afraid. Seeing Milly close to George fueled his anger, pushing him beyond control. He rushed up.

“Aah, ah–woo!”

Milly was nearly done bandaging the wound when a sudden force threw George onto the sofa. The wound on his hand which had just stopped bleeding, instantly oozed a lot of blood.

Apollo was now on top of George. His eyes filled with rage, clutching a shard of glass he had picked up from somewhere. He was about to plunge it into George’s

chest
