Darling, Please Love Me Again! ( Gisele Meyer ) Novel Chapter 78

Chapter 78

With a solemn face, Gisele berated, “Ms. McMillan, since we’re negotiating a deal, will you please come up with a substantial term?”

She could set up a booth as Gigi Toby Fluff, but it wasn’t helpful if Sierra merely persuaded Dorian to let Johnson have the surgery.

“What are your terms?” Sierra asked casually.

Taking a look at the increasingly skinny Johnson, Gisele sighed. “Besides the surgery, there’s also the fees for his future medical expenses until he’s completely fit to make a living for himself.”

“Not a problem.”

“And all his accounts should be reinstated. The people who had humiliated and insulted him before have to offer a personal apology, not forgetting the club’s compensation, not a penny less.” In one shot, Gisele named all the terms that came into her mind.

Johnson led a miserable life, and because of her, the situation just became worse for him. If she was able to, she would like to make up to him as much as possible.

Sierra didn’t answer her immediately as she contemplated the situation. All the terms Gisele listed were not a big deal.

In contrast, if she told Dorian about all of it and let him know how much Johnson mattered to Gisele,

maybe it would lead him to have other ideas about Gisele.

If Dorian was aware that Gisele kept other people on her mind, maybe she wouldn’t have a special place in his heart anymore.

“No, Gigi!” Johnson said anxiously.

The last thing he wanted was to be a burden to others. Even if it would come at the cost of his life, he would have no regrets.

After coming to a decision, Sierra agreed readily, “Okay, it’s a deal. You must attend the day of the charity opening. The next day, I’ll ask Dorian to arrange a surgery for this kid.”

“Okay,” Gisele agreed without second thoughts. “As long as Johnson is safe, I can do anything you ask of

me.”

Finally, she understood why yesterday Dorian said that she would need his help. At that time, she merely shrugged it off because there was peace at the Meyers, and Dorian had already thwarted her online shop and booth. Even the straightforward Angle was abroad, so she had nothing to worry about.

Alas, the problem sprouted because of Johnson.

Feeling satisfied, Sierra spun on her heels and opened the door to leave, only to find Dorian standing there.

“Don..” Unease flashed across her face. This morning, she had specially called to inform him that she

was coming to Central Hospital. In reply, he told her to come alone and that he wasn’t able to make it here due to a morning meeting. But, here he was now.

Was it because of Gisele?

Dorian nodded, his eyes fixed on Gisele, who was standing next to the bed. Just a second ago, he heard her saying that she could do anything as long as Johnson was safe.

Was she so fickle that she could fall for anyone and take care of any man except him?

Suddenly, the air of hostility built up around Dorian. Sierra, who wanted to approach him, was startled and stood rooted on the spot, afraid to take another step closer.

Stepping past her, Dorian walked ahead and came to a stop in front of Gisele. Roughly, he grabbed her slender arm and chided, “I have no idea that my wife is such a philanthropist. Are you willing to do anything for every sick man?”

“Let go of me!” Feeling his grip tightening, Gisele furrowed her brows subconsciously.

However, he held an iron grip on her wrist and put on a stiff smile. “What? Don’t you have the guts to

answer my question?”

“Dorian!” Taking a deep breath, Gisele then shouted as she stared at Sierra behind him, “Will you only be satisfied after hearing an answer from me? Yes, I’m philanthropic to every sick man. What’s wrong with

that?”

Healers were usually benevolent, and she loved her occupation. She felt sorry for and worried about every sick person, wishing that there would be no more illnesses and pain in this world. What was wrong with

that?
