She said, “Don’t worry, Ms. McMillan. Johnson will be of legal age in three days”

“Yeah! Mind your own business and stop meddling in our affairs” Johnson pushed the wheelchair forward.

Although he knew Gisele’s actions were deliberate, he showed no mercy in his words.

After leaving the room, he excitedly asked, “Gigi, could you accompany me on my 18th birthday? I want to go to the amusement park and ride the carousel to make a wish.

“Let’s go to the cafeteria and grab the couple’s special meal. It’s delicious and on special offer. I’m craving it!

Gisele kept her head down to conceal her inner pain. She had done her best, but it wasn’t enough.

Since her relationship with Dorian wouldn’t work out, she decided not to force it. She knew she should focus on more meaningful pursuits.

Meanwhile, Dorian watched their retreating figures with a dark expression until they entered the elevator. Then, he looked away.

“Shall we grab dinner?” Sierra asked, feeling relieved and hoping to move past the issue.

Earlier, she had heard Johnson’s voice in the room. So, she had purposely suggested visiting Gisele. But she hadn’t expected to witness what she had intended Dorian to see.

Nevertheless, his demeanor left her feeling unsettled.

“Sure,” Dorian replied, his tone softening as he treated her with deference.

As mealtime approached, the hospital cafeteria bustled with activity.

Patients and their families filled the spacious area, and their chatter echoed throughout the

entire first floor.

“Gigi, would you like to go upstairs?” Johnson asked, concerned that the noise might bother

her.
