“Mr. Murray, what are you insinuating? Are you accusing me of putting Gisele in a difficult. spot?”
Bernard heard Sierra’s sorrowful and hoarse voice from the other end of the phone. She sounded like she had been crying.
Left speechless, he frowned. After all, Gisele was Sierra’s love rival and had participated in the same show. If something happened to Gisele, it made sense that Sierra would want to add fuel to the fire.
Resentment filled Sierra’s eyes. She was shocked that Bernard would still suspect her after she had feigned innocence. What exactly was so great about Gisele that made him do so?
“Who’s on the call?” Dorian spoke coldly from within the bathroom.
Sierra rose and walked barefoot toward the bathroom with her phone in her hand.
Biting her l*p with a pitiful expression, she explained, “Mr. Murray called. He… He accused me of hurting Gisele and wanting to cause her trouble.”
“What bullshit!” Dorian tossed away the towel he had used to dry his hair.
He grabbed the phone and barked at Bernard, “Bernard Murray, does that lying b*tch, Gisele Meyer, deserve you standing up for her?”
“Standing up for her? Aren’t you going to look into the events?” Bernard was consumed by
rage.
If Gisele wasn’t Gigi Toby Fluff, no one would have cared about her role in the murder case or her life experiences prior to that.
Bernard was the only person who would speak up Gisele after she was revealed to be Gigi Toby Fluff. It turned out that not even Dorian would do so for her, despite being her
husband.
Dorian flashed a chilling smile. “The police will do justice by Gisele if it’s a misunderstanding. Why are you reaching out to me?”
He was reminded of the time Gisele mentioned her boyfriend. He felt dismayed that she had been dating his good friend Bernard behind his back.
Thankfully, he had discovered the truth early. Otherwise, he would have been cuckolded.
