Alpha Triplets Claim Chapter 193

Chapter 193

Chapter Seventy–One: Something’s Not Right!

Kiara’s POV:

The music had become the pulsating heartbeat of the club, the bass thumping in sync with the adrenaline coursing through my veins. For two hours, we lost ourselves in the rhythm, dancing without care, surrendering to the raw, unfiltered joy that the night offered.

Cathy, Riley, and JJ were a whirlwind of energy on the dance floor, their vibrant spirits contagious. Sweaty and breathless, we laughed and swayed, our bodies moving in rhythm with the entrancing beats. The music was a hypnotic siren’s call, and we were happy sailors lost in its intoxicating rhythm.

Eventually, the relentless pace started to wear on me. My body, still not fully recovered from the day’s trials, began to protest the continuous exertion. So, I decided to take a break, telling everyone that I needed a minute and another drink. I usually didn’t drink that much, and the last time I got drunk was almost a year ago, but tonight was about having fun, and it totally didn’t have to do with the fact that I was a tad bit pissed at my mates for blocking their mind link.

Returning to our booth, I found Rex with a giggling she–wolf perched on his lap. His lips were occupied with her neck, leaving a trail of gentle kisses that made her squirm in delight. I rolled my eyes at the display, earning a smug smirk from Rex.

“Having fun?” he asked, his voice teasing.

“Just making sure I don’t miss out on anything.” I retorted, taking a sip of my drink.

Deciding to check in on my mates, I reached out to them through our mind link. This time, the previously impenetrable wall was down, and their voices filled my mind.

Thank the goddess!

I was planning to go warrior chick on their ass if they didn’t reply.

“Kiara, love,” Jayden’s voice was gentle, tinged with relief. “We’re still at the meeting but don’t worry about us. We want you to enjoy your night.”

Kayden chimed in, his tone mirroring his brother’s,

“Just be safe, sweetheart. We’ll see you soon.

Their reassurances, though comforting, couldn’t completely dispel the lingering worry. However, I respected their need to handle whatever

issue was consuming their attention. And I couldn’t deny a part of met was grateful for this night of distraction, especially with all the lessons and not to mention Christan’s presence. Maybe I could get a new PA. Maybe even Riley was experienced enough.

“I love you both,” I replied, cutting the link and settling back into the booth, ready to soak up the rest of the night’s revelry.

With the pulsating music as my soundtrack and my friends at my side, I resolved to make the most of this night, creating memories that I’d cherish, regardless of the storm that might be brewing.

With the vibrant colours of the club pulsating around us and the hypnotic beats of the music fueling the energy in the air, Rex, unfazed by the chaos, looked at me with probing eyes, the she–wolf he was devouring long gone.

“Everything alright, Kiara?” His voice was a calm undertone that defied the booming bass echoing through the club.

The green and blue neon lights washed over his face intermittently, adding an ethereal glow to his otherwise gruff features. I offered him a reassuring smile, the dimples on my cheeks making a rare appearance.

“Yeah,” I responded, curling a loose strand of hair behind my ear. “I finally got through to them. They’re still caught up with the council.”

The corners of Rex’s mouth turned upwards in a smirk, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

“Ah, those two. Always so serious about their duties,” he teased, shaking his head in feigned disappointment.

With a dramatic sigh, he put on a show, mimicking my mates in a mockingly sweet tone.

“It’s all love,‘ ‘sweetheart,‘ and ‘we miss you.‘” Rex teased

His impression of Kayden and Jayden was hilariously inaccurate, and I couldn’t help but erupt into a fit of laughter. As I caught my breath, I teased him back,

“Just wait and see, Rex. The day you find your mate, you’ll be singing the same tune, if not sweeter.” I said, smirking.

His eyes widened in feigned horror, and a playful scowl replaced his smug grin.

“Alright, alright, no need to jinx it,” he playfully nudged me, trying to switch the focus off him.

Just then, the rest of our friends bounced back to our booth, their faces glowing with laughter and exhilaration. They were lost in the music, bodies swaying with the rhythm. As they settled down, Cathy, never missing a beat, waved down a waiter and ordered another round of shots.

The tiny glasses filled with amber liquid appeared in no time, winking

under the club lights. With a mischievous grin, Cathy lifted her glass high, the colourful lights illuminating her face in an array of shifting.

colours.

“We’re celebrating tonight!” she declared, her voice filled with excitement.

“Here’s to Kiara, our very own Luna Queen, and to an unforgettable night of freedom and fun!” Said, Riley

With a chorus of cheers and clinking glasses, we joined in the toast, our laughter melting into the thumping music around us. As I looked around at my friends, their faces radiant and carefree, I realized that amidst all the responsibilities and fears, these moments truly mattered.

Our laughter echoed in the vibrant rhythm of the club as we lounged comfortably in our booth, the clamour of the crowd muted to a dulcet hum. Cathy and Riley caught up in the exhilarating energy of the dance floor, swayed rhythmically to the enticing beat, their figures merging with the pulsating lights.
