Alpha Triplets Claim Chapter 142

Chapter 142.

Chapter Thirty–Nine: Forgive Us

Kiara, at the age of Fourteen

Kiara POV:

I could see Aiden open his mouth from the side of my eye to say something that would get him in trouble probably. As harsh as Beta Tim and Gamma Chris were to everyone, they were not like that with me. They were exceptionally friendly and ensured I was protected and safe, which I found weird because I wasn’t related to them in any way plus, being friends with the prince wouldn’t grant this behaviour since. they were the harshest on him and JJ didn’t get any special attention. like me despite being the only other friend Rex had. Aiden used to mess with me and said they probably liked liked me. Yeah, we were close, but they were like my older brothers. The feelings I had for Betal Tim and Gamma Chris were nothing like I had for the twins, which were, as we speak, breaking my heart.

Before Aiden could spew some nonsense and land himself in trouble, I spoke up, grabbing Gamma Chris’s attention.

Chapter 142.

“Lead the way, Gamma,” I said, smiling a little.

Though I’m sure my red nose, snout and red eyes would give away that I was balling my eyes out. And by the look of sadness the Gamma had given me, it was a no–brainer, he knew. I turned around, hugging Aiden and telling him that I would see him later. Much to his disdain, I shooed him away as I turned around and followed Gamma Chris down the same corridor where I had just got myself hurt.

Why were the twins hell–bent on torturing me? I didn’t want to see them with those girls, and I definitely didn’t want to see them right now after what they had said to me. Saying sorry every time doesn’t fix the wounds made. It wasn’t like I could be rude and snub them. They were the kings, and if I pissed them off, I could be kicked out of the scholarship, and goddess knows what else. They could even deny me to work alongside a scholar when I turned eighteen. Life was unfair. I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard Gamma Chris speak up.

“I’m not exactly sure what their highnesses said or did, little queen, but know this they both would never intentionally hurt you. They want you to be safe and think Aiden is not good company. They don’t mean anything malicious.” Said, Gamma Chris.

I wanted to roll my eyes at him and scoff. Yeah, sure, they weren’t being malicious; he wasn’t there to hear what they had to say or what they were implying and worse, he wasn’t having his heart cry when he had to see someone he had feelings for getting smothered by someone else. I knew he couldn’t say anything or do anything regarding it; they were the kings. They held all the power; there was only so much they could do to them.

“Yeah, I guess so, but that doesn’t mean they are allowed to hurt people like that.” I said.

Even though I had talked in a very low tone, Gamma Chris had picked it up as he patted my shoulder. I could see he was about to say something but stopped when Beta Tim came in front of us and bent down to my level.

“I’m not going to make excuses for their behaviour, little queen, but just know they feel awful and mean nothing about what they said.” Said Beta Tim

Well, here was advocate number two for the twins. For people who said they would always keep me safe and happy, they sure did suck at protecting me. But then again, they could not go against the alpha kings. I just nodded at him and gave him a small smile. Standing up to his height, he patted my head and ushered me inside the twin’s office.

The moment I entered, their musk scent hit me like a ton of bricks, making me somewhat feel better, but I didn’t dare look up even though I felt their eyes on me. I couldn’t take it if those two she–wolves were still here and canoodling with them.

“Please look up, Kiki.” I heard King Kaiden say

My eyes shot up on their own accord listening to him call me by that nickname. They hardly called me by that, and it had been years since. they last did. I was fully expecting to have my heart broken again seeing them and those she–wolves, but to my surprise, they weren’t there and surprisingly, I noticed their scents weren’t in the room either, meaning they had left long ago. It had hardly been thirty minutes since.

Chapter 142

they came in. Why would they leave so early? I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard king Jayden speak this time.

“Nothing we can say can ease the pain we caused you, but regardless we want to apologize,” he said

“Yes, little one. We in no way meant what we said, and we know just by apologizing won’t fix the damage that we have caused, but it’s a start.” Said King Kayden

My eyes flickered between them; I knew they were being sincere. For some weird reason, I always knew what they felt. Even when they had those mean alpha king faces up, I could see right through them. But as they said, a sorry wasn’t going to cut it. This was the second time they had accused me of something like this. I wanted to call them out, but it wasn’t that easy. What if they snapped, and I lost everything alongside. Aiden as well since they had it down for him? I didn’t want to be the reason for any of his failures.

“We can see the gears turning in your head, little one. Speak your mind. We won’t mind.” Said King Jayden

I looked at him; this was the first time in a long time I had looked them. in the eye as they looked back at me. I never did before out of respect, but their eyes held so much honesty and desperation that the words. spilled out of me on their own accord.

“I don’t get why you both do this. You know everything; Beta Tim and Gamma Chris report back to you, and I’m almost 99.99% sure so does. Rex, as you guys tend to know things when no elder is around. But that’s not even the problem; I get you both are protective since you

promised my family to look after me, but that doesn’t mean you guys hound my life while you guys do all the things yourselves you accuse me of. How is that making of a supreme ruler? The hypocrisy amazes me” The last part came out much more hostile than I expected.

I could tell the twins didn’t expect me to say all that, but, hey, they asked for it, and it was the truth anyway. The twins looked at themselves and then rubbed the back of their necks. The action alone

wanted to make me giggle out loud, but I held it back. They looked so cute and confused.

“We understand that, and again we know words won’t cut it, but at least give us a chance to make up for it.” Said King Jayden

“Yes, little one, we understand all of that. Just know, Jayden, and I don’t think you anything less than perfect, and our protectiveness gets in the way. However, we’ll be honest we do not like that kid Aiden, but we understand that he is your friend and what we asked is unfair of us to ask. But just for our sake and sanity, don’t get so close to him. Not. only because it’s wrong the way he sometimes talks, even if it’s harmless, but you all have to worry about the final test coming up in at year.” Said, king Kayden

I nodded. He was right. Even though I knew Aiden meant all fun and games, I needed to think about what if my mate found out about all this. He wouldn’t like it. Hell, I wouldn’t like it if some she–wolf talked to my mate like that. Thinking about mates, my eyes went to the twins again. I sighed internally; if only I could’ve been their mate. I would want nothing more, but I knew that wasn’t the case, and their luna queen would turn up soon. I was broken out of my wishful thinking when I heard king Jayden speak up again.

“So, little one, will you let us make it up to you?” He said.

He and King Kayden came closer and bent down on one knee to my height. Their enthusiasm had me wonder what they had planned. Even though I wanted to stay mad and same no, I gave in and gave them a small smile and nodded, which had them beaming up. They quickly stood to their heights and ushered me back to my room, saying to get ready and meet them back in their office in an hour.

What in the name of the goddess had they planned?
