King Kayden and King Jayden’s words played in my head like a broken record all night. The venom, the hostility in their voices and the anger in their eyes flashed in front of me repeatedly. How could they say something so shallow like that to me? And why were we even a target of their hostility in the first place? They had told us countless times that we needed to take breaks when we studied to make sure we weren’t overwhelmed, and when we did, they decided to go bum-crap crazy on us.

On top of that, why would they embarrass Rex like that in front of us all? Rex was the most hardworking person I knew. He looked up to his brothers, and what they did was horrible; they literally yelled at him in front of other people; he was a prince as well and had to be respected. You could tell how hurt he was. I always wanted them to like me, so I tried my best to be the best version of myself, but if they were going to hurt my best friend and their little brother, who idolized them, then they would get it from me.
