Chapter Twenty-Seven: First Day Part One

The past few days at the castle were great. JJ and I video-called. every day, and I talked to mom and daddy every day as well. The, triplets were busy. However, they always made time to talk to me, even for a few minutes. No doubt I missed my family and JJ, especially JJ, but Rex, King Kayden, and King Jayden didn’t let me be sad for long. chocolate chip cookies. There was so much, but on top of that me, and Rex had sneaked some in from the movie room when the kings, Beta and Gamma, weren’t looking. Rex also hid his stash with mine because his rude nanny found it under his bed and took it away. Since I like to clean my own room and no one comes to my room, keeping his stash in my room was safer. Bot that wasn’t the weirdest thing that happened; after a few days, when my stash ran low, I came back from the backyard playing with Rex to find a basket full of everything I liked when I tried reading the note to see who it was from it, it said from your admirers. It should’ve scared me, and I should’ve told someone, but I had this weird feeling that whoever these people were would never hurt; plus, they restocked my stash and didn’t tell anyone, so they had to be nice.
However, even though King Jayden and King Kayden had spent the first three days alongside me, they weren’t seen often these last few days, and I missed them. I knew they were kings, but I had developed this weird attraction towards them as if I wanted – to be close to them all the time, which was wrong of me to feel. They were monarchs, and as much as I appreciated their efforts to keep me company, I knew they had to return to their duties. I hope they will meet me soon, though, at least wish me luck for my first day of classes.
Rex and I were super close now. was pretty bummed that he wouldn’t be joining me in my scholarship. Today I was officially going to start my scholarship classes; if I was completely honest with myself, I was more scared than excited; even though the other scholarship students were around the castle, I hadn’t met up with them since my quarters were more closer to Rex and I spent most of my time with him. couldn’t meet up with the other students was that they had their quarters in another building behind the castle, but apparently, since I was the only alpha’s daughter around so for my safety, they kept me in the castle; as much as I liked it, I didn’t want my classmates to think I was a snobbish kid, I honestly did want to make friends since I didn’t have any in my pack. Rex’s parents – were also so nice to me, always asking if I was okay and coming. to them whenever I needed something. With all the love pouring. from every direction, it truly warmed my heart, and the insecurities I had when everyone left me were slowly fading.
I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on my door
it was probably Rex! I rushed to the door with a big smile. on my face; he promised he would walk me to my class before he left for his private classes. The best part was his private classes were taught in the library where my classroom was, so whenever we had lunchtime, I could meet up with him. Plus, he promised me pizza today! But when I opened the door, I got an even better surprise: King Jayden and King Kayden.
“Hi! I’ve missed you guys.” I couldn’t control my excitement and jumped to hug them but ended up hugging their legs
They both chuckled and bent down to my level. Quickly remembering that I wasn’t supposed to touch the monarchs without their permission dawned on me, and I let them go and stepped back, blushing.

ramble, but before I could get another word out, I felt King Jayden put a finger on my lips, shutting me up they both laughed at me.

If this were anyone else, I would’ve ended up with tears in my eyes, but not with the kings. I knew they were messing with me, and we were friends; well, I liked to think they were my best friends. I really did hope they felt the same way!
“Little one, you need to stop with the rambling; we aren’t offended. You can hug us whenever you want but just make sure no one is around. Our family is fine, but no one else. Okay?” Said, King Jayden
I nodded excitedly! His words brought the biggest smile to my face! They were the best! I wonder why everyone said they were mean and arrogant; all they ever did was smile at me and laugh. But then again, I was still a pup compared to them, and elders usually were friendlier with us. I really hope they won’t change as I grow up!
“We just came to wish you good luck on your first day of classes and tell you that we both believe you’ll do great and come out on top at the end like the superstar you are.” Said, King Kayden
“If you ever need anything or think someone isn’t treating you right, you come either me or Kayden, little one. Make us proud.” Said King Jayden, as he squeezed my shoulder softly.
