“Will you visit me?” Kiara said in a hoarse voice as she clung to her mother. Tears in her eyes as they fell on her rosy cheeks.
Mine and Kayden’s heart was breaking seeing our little mate so upset. Her tears hadn’t stopped since breakfast was finished. It had been over thirty minutes, and she continuously hugged her parents, brothers, babysitter and Jacob, begging them to stay another day. You could see the sadness in all their eyes, but they kept a smile on their face as they hugged and placated our little mate, promising her to come back soon and call them if she needed them, and they would be here soon as possible.
“Of course, princess. You know we love you and would want to come to visit you every chance we get.” Said her mother.

Luna Clarise stroked her daughter’s head, tears gathering in her eyes, as she took in her pup’s scent but quickly sniffed them before our little mate could see them. Giving Kiara a tight hug and giving both her cheeks and nose a peck, she got up, and her father crouched down to her level, engulfing her in a big hug as our little mate wrapped her tiny arms around her father’s neck.-

“Promise me, princess; you’ll be good and listen to everyone here like the good girl you are.” Said Alpha Albert.

Alpha Albert smiled and kissed his daughter all over her face. He was a fearless alpha and an impeccable leader, but you could see the sadness in his eye about leaving his cherished daughter behind. The guilt was hitting Kayden and me in waves, that we were breaking up a loving family, and mom was also squirming. I kept telling myself she wanted it, and we didn’t force her, but as much as I repeated the mantra, it still; hurt seeing her so upset.

Her babysitter was the only one that let her tears fall as she clutched our mate in her arms, telling her to take care of herself and to eat her vegetables, which had Kiara scrunch up her nose in disgust and shake her head furiously, which had the depressing vibe waver a bit with everyone chuckling at her.
Alpha Albert, Luna Clarise and the triplets then came towards our parents and us, thanking us for the opportunity for their daughter. Throughout the conversation, even though we were facing them, mine and Kayden’s ears were on Kiara and that pup, Jacob’s conversation.

After another half an hour of goodbyes, Kiara’s family had climbed into the two massive escalades we had parked in the front for them. shook her head, mind linking us that people were close, that we had to pretend she meant nothing to us. We balled our fists and made our way to private quarters waiting for Rex and Kiara to come when mom shooed us away.
“Where is she? She and Rex should be here by now. We should be the ones comforting her, not anyone else; she’s our mate.” Jayden huffed as he paced the theatre room up and down.
I was sailing the same boat pretty much. Tim and Chris looked. at us, amused, with the biggest shit-eating grins. We had finally filled them in about Kiara, and to say they were ecstatic for us was an understatement. Chris had already taken the knee to protect his future queen. As much as the little shit was annoying, I could’ve smothered him love at the moment for making our mate smile and nod as she wiped her tears away.
“Well, I think I know what would make you feel better. Kayden and I have a surprise for our favourite friend.” Said Jayden
I knew he cringed at labelling us as friends but not like we had much choice. It was going to take one Disney movie at a time and one year at a time to make her realize who she was to us.
That spiked Kiara’s interest, but before she could ask, Jayden and I led her and Rex to the front of the room, where we had all sorts of candies, chocolates, chips and Disney movies laid out for her. The moment her eyes fell on everything. It was like a switch was flipped, all the sadness was gone, and the biggest smile adorned her face as she jumped right into Jayden and m hugging our necks tightly.
“You’re the best! You are the best friends I could ever ask for.” She squeaked out in happiness.
Chuckling as Jayden and I pat her back. At the same time, Chris and Tim laughed at their future queen’s antics. Untangling ourselves from our little mate, each of us holding her tiny hand in our big ones, we led her to her seat and played the first movie
