Chapter Fifteen: Castle Tour Part One
Kiara, at age nine
Kiara POV:
I was jumping on my feet in excitement. I was
get a tour of the castle. Even though I was a little sleepy with all
super excited to the dessert and food I ate, I tried my best not to yawn. I always got sleepy when I overate, but I didn’t want to miss the chance of seeing the castle. What if prince Kayden and prince Jayden were busy tomorrow and didn’t have time to show me around after the coronation? I wanted my new friends to show me around and not anyone else. Plus, I think only they could help me make JJ happy by letting us look at the king’s collection.
Me, JJ and Rex followed behind his brothers as they led us out of the ballroom and down the corridor. Even though the hallways were now very quiet, but I still looked on, amazed and in awe of the place. It was so pretty. The crystal chandeliers on the ceilings looked like sparkling diamonds. Beautiful-green plants were placed all over. I wanted to run ahead of the princes
the entire time, but with JJ holding my hand, it was really hard. I tried pushing away, but JJ didn’t let go. As we passed different portraits, the princes explained who they were, and I knew most of them. I had even told the twins most of their history that I learned from history books back at the pack library.
“You’re a clever one, Kiara. Said, prince Kayden.

“Really? Thank you! I love learning history. It’s one of favourites. You know I’m about to finish the book I’m reading on
my monarch history and then move to lycan history.” I said.
The princes chuckled and led us to a pair of big brown doors. Prince Jayden pushed them open, and I gawked at the place. This was the throne room: it was so big. Elsa’s was tiny, and her. throne was nowhere as big as the golden ones on the high platform in front of us. Cinderella’s throne room was big, but not as big as this either.
“This here is the throne room. Both thrones are made of pure gold, cravings in them as old as two thousand years old. Inscriptions on them stating the monarch’s promises to their kingdom.” Said, prince Kayden. As we walked toward the thrones. The hall around had big white square tiles; they were so shiny that I and JJ could see our joined hand reflection in them. Four giant chandeliers on the ceiling were so big that they covered so much space. They must be so beautiful when fully lit
up.

Chapter 117
“Prince Kayden,” I said, making him and prince Jayden stop in their tracks and turn to me.
Just as I was about to ask them something, they had those bludgey eyes again pointing toward me and JJ. I yelped! Were. they mad because I cut them off? Daddy always said cutting people was off very rude unless what I had to say was very important! But, what I wanted to say was important. Scared they could end the tour, I quickly gave them my puppy dog eyes and said.
“Did I offend you, prince Kayden? I’m sorry I didn’t mean to cut you off but what I wanted to tell you is really important.” I said.
Both he and prince Jayden exhaled loudly before smiling at me, those scary bludge eyes gone. Thank the goddess! Their bludgey were scarier than mommy.
“We’re not upset with you, Kiara. We, well, leave it. What was important you wanted to tell us?” Said, prince Jayden
Yay! They weren’t mad!
“Um, could you turn on all the chandelier lights? I really want to see how they look. I’m sure they sparkle like diamonds.” I said
Both the princes smiled and nodded. Prince Jayden moved really fast to the end of the hall, which took us ten minutes to walk to flick the lights on. The moment they turned on, I
squealed in excitement.
“Wow! Prince Jayden is so fast. I bet he could win all the cross. country races back home.” JJ said.
I nodded! I was sure he could! He was super fast. Even faster than my brothers!
“You like it, little one?” Prince Kayden asked.
“Yes, it’s so pretty! It’s even shiner than Elsa’s ice castle, and that castle was very shiny.” I said as I looked around.
Prince Jayden and prince Kayden then led us to the thrones; we climbed the steps to where they were. My eye twinkled as I saw the inscription in the ancient wolf language. However, as much as I wanted to read it, I couldn’t. I hadn’t started ancient language class! Which made me sad.
“You okay there, little one? You seem sad all of a sudden?” I heard prince Jayden ask as he prince Kayden got down to my level.
“I can’t read the inscription since haven’t started the books yet.
I really wanted to know what it said.” I said, pouting.
“Your such a nerd, kiki,” Rex said from behind.
He and JJ laughed. I just glared at them. Before I could call them dumb, I felt someone lifting me and then I was placed on one of the thrones. Forgetting all about JJ and Rex, I grinned excitedly as I saw both the princes smile at me.
“Don’t be sad, Kiara. We’ll read it for you.” Said, prince Kayden.

I tilted my head to the side and just stared at them. I waved my hand in front of their faces, bringing them back to reality. I giggled! They were probably sleepy. Jumping off the throne, I looked at them and said.
“We can see the rest tomorrow if you guys are sleepy.” Even though I didn’t want the tour to end, we had only seen a few things, but I didn’t want to keep them awake! They could get grumpy like mommy and daddy do when they don’t get enough. sleep.
“We’re okay, Kiara. Come, we’ll show you the rest of the castle, and then tomorrow, we’ll show you the outside.” Said, prince Jayden
Nodding excitedly, I followed my two new friends out of the throne room and down the hallway. They showed us the kitchen,

Before I knew it JJ left my hand and hurried along with Rex to see the cars up close. Just as I was about to go towards them, I heard prince Kayden’s voice from above me.
“Do you want to stay here or see something else, Kiara? I believe Jacob and Rex may take a while.” He said.
I contemplated what they said. Yeah, the cars were nice and all, but they were still dumb boy things. Maybe I could ask to see the treasure room or secret passages they had here. I looked at the princes and smiled.
